nice. id rather pay 2800 for that than 1800 for a standard 1.2 spin that was in auto trader last week lol
Wish i had the cash to spend on this.
Im liking the shadow chrome twin spokes they look really nice and looks a very clean one, someone wanting to make some pennies from somebody wanting a nova for the summer shows methinks lol
i no this car its just up the road from me looks nice the bloke loves a vauxhall its peter gsi off of here if any one wants to pm him

Looks lovely, all bar the price. Novas are getting silly priced now. It is a nice example though.

Yes it is well spotted pete as it doesnt have a MAF whereas a GSi lump should, hmmm wonder whats gone on there lol

Later GSi had the c16se, bigger version of the c14se really, used the same pierburg injection as the SRi too. Might be why it doesn't have the airflow meter.

The bay looks proper grubby in comparison to the exterior.
Why ruin it with a gay "*& inside sticker on the back.
The bay looks proper grubby in comparison to the exterior.
Think it may have the factory waxoil intact as my old GSI was the same.
ye way over priced, does any1 actually pay that lol
You Irish boys seem to.
and you would know how? fully restored cars or cars in mint condition always make good money...

Yeah, as it's one of the later GSi's it has the C16 as someone has already said. My old black one had the same engine!
If it's in as good a nick as it looks in the pictures it's worth that all day long, I'd no bother getting more for mine!

Bacause all the Irish members are always telling us how much more expensive novas, engines etc fetch over there.

Looks like its been rear ended at some stage imho.
AMG sold his GSi for big money recently and its changed hands twice since at the same price!! Yet there is a Standard GSi Nova around the corner from me that cantt make €1800. I fully intend to stick a €3k price tag on each of my Novas when they're finished.
Looks like its been rear ended at some stage imho.
I was thinking if its mint with no rot or any blemishes why has it been fully repainted!
Don't like bad mouthing a car that I haven't seen with my own eyes, but that was my conclusion as well.
Buying a car on the strength of the photographs is a risky business, your own eyes are the only judge IMO. When I look back I was completely mad buying my SR on the strength of 4 or 5 pictures (and not great ones at that), but thankfully it turned out OK!

Boot floor looks a bit wonky in that pic of the floor. As they go when something has been in the back of them and it twists the metal right angle brackets that the bumper bar mounts to into the floor bending it.
Then again might just be the angle and lighting of the picture.
looks like its pulled in on the rear bumper too where it sits on the rear arch.

Yup, osr light looks to not line up with the tailgate as well in some pics. Also no proper square on rear end shot, light gaps would be a mile out i bet.
so, its been bummed, and isnt as good as described. sounds like most cars on p/h and ebay. hmm i didnt see that coming...

You could build something a world away from that for 2.7K
Get a good £100 shell and put a proper engine in it

Good luck to you building one for that money!! My paint job alone cost 2k on the GSi!!!lol
