gte engine running 40's

hey rite basically i want to build a spare engine to run webber 40's
but for as little as possible, so if anyones got any tips, or links to sites that are cheap for parts that would be great.

i will port and polish the head meself and build the engine meself.

but as for lightening n balancing, etc anyone got any hints??

autosprint are surprisingly cheap for lightening/balancing work, think it was around £120 for a full lightened balanced bottom end and flywheel? You'd have to contact them to find out what kind of extent they take it too.
