Hi i have bought a 1.8 8v engine that came out of an astra sxi j reg right i want to put it in my sri but the wiring i've been giving looks totally different to mine and i can't see how im going to be able to run it.. And the ecu i got given was under the bonnet of the astra and it's plasctic... Now the engine looks like a 2.0 8v. Would my loom in the car now work or will i have to use the other loom? And also there looks like there is something missing from the loom like another ecu type thing. Has anyone fitted one of these engines to there nova before?
