Alternator lowering bracket

Looking the bracket to lower the alternator on my E16SE for the twin 40's, or even dimensions to make my own.

can you not just get a bit of 4mm steel and drill some holes in it top and bottom, depending on how much lower you want the alt, it would only move it 4mm further away from the bottom pully, but im sure it would be fine

I had thought of doing that, but would like to get dimensions of someone that has already done it, to save any arsing about!!!:thumb:
