This is my 87 shell , i was wondering how it could look with a front snowplough and is the rear bumper the correct one for early sr's as im thinking of going corsa gt style on it , opinions welcome :thumb:

ive already got a spoiler for it and the front snowplough , im going to put an amber strip on the bumpers , but should i get door mouldings or leave the side of her the way it is ? . thanks :D

personaly i think if ya gonna do it you need to go the whole hog side mouldings and grey bottom half like the one in your pics

i see mate , i was also wondering is the bumper i have the correct bumper to go with the front snow plough ?

Yes. IIRC the only difference mk1 wise is on GTE's it is colour coded. Same with mk2's, GSi is colour coded.

^ GTE has a large lower valance. I think early pre-facelift Mk1s had a small valance along the bottom? As I'm sure sports had the poverty spec bumper like yours, where as SR's had the valance

so i would need a mk 1 sr rear bumper to go with the snowplough ?

Which is whats fitted now. The GTE (as RJ rightly points out) had a larger rear valence.
