never seen that done but does not mean that it carnt be done, for a start the box is on oposite side to the novas set up, ther is a few diffrent type r engines but a nova revving to 9000 will be good!
if you got the car that cheap id stick the engine on fleabay as they go for realy good money. seen one done in a dare i say it ? ( 106 ) and it was fitted in rear with a space frame.

it didnt work couldnt get full lock as the wheel hit the gear box

I don't think it got as far as being fitted due to the width of the engine & box being just too big to get into the engine bay.

You will sincerely struggle to get a Type R engine with £300!! Let alone just the box!! They sell for more then a LET, an they wont fit in a Nova!!!

I took one out a Civic to put back into a Civic, there fecking mahooooooosive, weight a tonne, have a kick @ss wiring loom but make some awesome power!!

dude for 3 ton i would sell the engine (yes THAT is how its spelt!!) and get yourself an XE or LET you would probs end up with change to get tutoring on how to speak properly!

Civic engine will not fit in the Nova engine bay.

Someone asked about this ages a go and somebodies already tried and failed. As Mike says the gearbox is huge.

i no it aint the vtec type r engine but did someone put a 16valve honda engine in a nova and get it running ?? the front engine mount was REALLY flimsy


search honda in projects nearly the last one on the list
(it was a crx engine)
