mk1 dash swap

when swapping a mk1 dash for a mk2 dash are all the plugs the same or do the plugs from the mk2 loom need cutting off and attaching to the mk1 loom?

have to chop plugs

but i found every wire was like for like

there is also a guide in the how to section. but it mentions a wire swap. lol. but is helpful none the less.

also something i didnt do and made it a ton harder. on the mk2 dash remove all the black panels and get the grey bit bolted up, and pull all the wires through the right holes, then wire into the black bits. hope this helps

Depends on the engine/work already done on the loom like alarm etc, but it may be easyer to find a mk2 loom. No chance of any dodgy connections then.
