for alternators???
well, they take less power from the engine, but also they produce less electricity, and if you are night driving or doing short journeys, the battery may not get enough charge.
i did read somewhere of a mod where you rig up a switch on the throttle, so under full throttle the alternator gets turned off. it apparently was worth 5hp....I've always wanted to check this out if I ever get my car on a rolling road
ps. crepe recipe works great... thanks
oi! share the recipie luke!!! lmao!
i heard that too, apparently the rally lads did it via a full throttle switch.
the underdrives are ok if your goin huge spec but tbh if your not id not bother.

yes, the pulley that drives the alternator.....
I don't think that it will save 14hp, but it might save 2-3hp if you are lucky
80 quid would buy you a decent induction kit that would make more power.
they are more ideal for high reving engine's as the alt wont spin as fast when high up in the rev's
