Just had my xe running for the first time tonight and a to say it was a mayo feast is an understatement, the engine has been stood for nearly six years and I'm hoping its just the headgasket as I have one and I'm happy to fit one. Due to it mixing so quickly I'm hoping it is definately the headgasket and not a porous head. What does everyone think seroiusly???

drain the oil, fill her up with new and see how it goes

Pourus problem normally fills the headertank with oil. Ill go for the gasket option.

drain the oil, fill her up with new and see how it goes

What will that achieve?

With nearly no oil in it and I just fully serviced it with genuine parts from Autovaux

Might be porus then. Whip the head off and see if the gasket has breached. If not it may well be pourus, but only a crack test will tell you for sure.

Cheers kids, Spoke to my mate who has his own garage and It'll be thirty quid to be pressure checked so unless the gasket has obviously gone it'll be getting tested
