Right I know the 8v gasket/baffle plate is the best to go for. I've replaced mine now with 2 new gaskets and leaked from day one.

This is the kiddy (http://i9.ebayimg.com/04/i/000/da/65/4c33_1.JPG)

On Egay its £32 inc postage. Where is the best and cheapest place?!? Sods law euro car parts doesn't stock them lol

I know my local motorfactors can get hold of the gaskets, and mine was a Payen the same as that pic, so see if they can post one out to you? 0118 944 0024 is the number off their website. The fella should be able to find it for you pretty quick too as I've got him pretty good with nova engine codes now lol I'd pick one up for you myself but i'm kinda 'stuck' at uni atm

I'm going to give my mate a call now about PVS. Closing date I noticed has been moved to tomorrow... DOH

When I asked I think vauxhall did the baffle for about £20 the gaskets cant be that much. You could try www.allittmotorsport.co.uk as they can mailorder stuff.

It's not so much getting the gaskets I can get them through work. My baffle is the type witht he bonded gaskets to it, and I tried to cheat and use two new gaskets but it still leaks thats why I'm looking for the 8v bonded baffle gasket. It's just trying to find someone who sells them... :(

have you used the black silicon when assembling?

yep, but no luck... Was going to try it all again, but would rather do it properly in the first with the one piece baffle/gasket :(

have you skimmed the oil pan?

most people torque them to tight/wrong and the bend a little.

just take a glass plate, tape some sanding paper to it and pull the sump over it. 9/10 are bend.
