I bought this the other sunday from skitz off here as my other more door loon had seen better days and baxter wanted to kill it ,any how i,ve bought this as i need a nova for the shows as my xe more door loon wont be ready till next year now:roll: heres some pics as i got it with more to come while i get her reday for pv :thumb:

how do you no about my vento :confused: lol ,shes already lowered and fitted with a nice momo steering wheel,got a very different choice of wheel aswell so you,l have to wait and see ;) and she will be fitted with a snow plough and one piece front finished with a full machine buff:thumb:

right quick update shes now had a full machine buff,lowerd on gmax springs and shocks,and fitted with an old skool momo wheel.My one piece, snow plough and rear bumper will be of for paint in a week or 2 fingers crossed.I,ve also doug out my old centre hub caps and bolt covers

Looks good, If you're going to fit gte clocks you'll probably have the same trouble ive had in as much as you cant see the speedo properly. No biggie but worth a thought.

yeah all being well i,ll be fitting a set of sport clocks :D ,not to botherd about seeing the speedo lol but thanks for the heads up its worth the sacrifice for a rev counter :thumb:

right been busy today doin a few bits here and there making the car look a little diferent anyways heres the pics lets us no what you think as i,m unsure about the front bumper :confused:

cheers vaughan what do think to the colour cause i was thinking of having the bumpers painted grey but i,m not sure and craig i think i,m going to leave them orange but i,m going to fit my clears to see what they look like cause i carnt make my mind up lol

No rust at all to worry about, proof once again that this is a very tidy shell even if it has got silly arches and a massive ass

Next up, 1400 SR engine being built up ready to fit, over went the 1200 alt and a few other bits, we had fun finding all the required studs as the SR lump had none in it and the 1200 refused to give its studs up.....

All built up and run up to temp, cooling fan kicked in and no leaks, checked the gearbox oil and lined up the linkage, got all the gears and took her for her first mission, 1200 - 1400 SR in roughly 48 hours lol

Yeah mate was good to see you again aswell and floor vent lol thats my aircon :roll: but seriously the dash is coming out soon and off into work to get the welding done which is my next job after making her go faster :thumb:

been doing some mincing on the loon today,stripping a few bits off ready for welding the battery tray and paint in the next few weeks.But as i started taking the wings off i found that when it had the sills plated theyve been welded to the wings :mad: ,the battery tray has an epic hole and there was more rust behinf the wings :( . heres the pics

a guy i work with whos a welder is coming out next week to have a look at them bits but the rear valance has gone aswell underneath the bumper,if its not good news she will be getting stripped and sold for spares after all the work ive put into her :cry:

i made a rear valance for my first nova i had lol and rebuilt half the boot floor. i wouldnt scrap it its only a weekends work
