dont take my word for it as i dont know for sure, but i heard the 12v has a different engine mount being a 3 piston block, so you might have to hack it off and weld a standard nova one in its place possibly
if so that aint a problem lol ive got a complete Nova shell here lol that just happens to have a rebuilt E16 in lol

why not use the nova ! it'll be faster than its big-mac eating brother and the works allready done

Becuase its a Nova an its sh1t. Simple mathmatical deduction really.
engine mounts
as it's a 12v shell, you need to use the 1.4/1.6 16v engine mounts & chassis rubbers
can use original corsa shafts
will need a different tranducer for speedo, unless you keep original box
wiring's a slight pain - other than that it's straight forward

+Repz for you babe ;) nice one Ste
oh, it's only the driver's side mount/rubber you need, gearbox one's (front & rear)you can use the 1.0's as they are all the same
also the wiring, it's all in the engine bay on the 1.0's so ideal for the e16, only thing is, the fuel pump wiring, not sure on that heard different things like running it to fuse box on xe's etc, but not looked into it

Who cares, this is the mechanical section, he is asking about an engine for a corsa.
