Get a Tran x lsd with the f20 (larger) side gears. Then use conversion shafts with 5 stud hubs. Not cheap though.

On a n/a smallblock I'd be tempted to cut & shut the shafts together, use smallblock inner & bigblock Cav/Astra outer half with the 5 stud hubs.

As said above, Cav V6 gear on the rear. Or drill & tap the drums.

I know of welded shafts on a C20LET'd Pug 306, have been fine.

for the fronts can you not machine down some hubs from a newer small block vauxhall ie astra or corsa that are 5 stud ??? so they fit inside the standard nova bearing ???

have you considered hubcentric wheel adaptors? i know there is endless combinations availible for vw's

wont that ruin the offset though?

Typically yeah, though all these Porsche rims have a really high offset, so arent too bad with the adaptors in place.
