Just sit a 4 stud one over the top and drill it yourself.

If they're 256mm, then cant he just use 4 stud 256 mm discs?

But iirc they didnt make 5 stud 256s

Fiat 284mm disk's will work with the Vectra V6 calipers, there fitted to mine, though to make sure they work right you should space the calipers back of the carriers with washers 3mm, as the offset of the fiat disk is not the same as vux.

Copyed from post on mig. http://www.migweb.co.uk/forums/other-mechanical-electrical/340080-discs-4-stud-turbo-calipers.html

Fiat discs(284x22) should only be used with Cali V6/Turbo calipers that use a 284x24mm disc (ideally with a 3mm spacer behind the caliper),
the fiat disc is too thin to use with V6 calipers that use a 288x25mm disc.

As you can see, the Vauxhall 288mm discs have a min. thickness of 22mm (that's the same as the fiat discs when there new !)
So, if you use the Fiat discs with 288 calipers you can only use them once ( 1 set of pads ), then they're pretty much useless.
(or change the pads everytime there 1/2 worn)

thanks very much scott thats very usefull to know.
if i do go about this i will more than likely just drill the 5 stud disc.
so the answer to my question is yes they will fit my nova and they are the bigger 288mm brakes, thanks very much.

yeah a mate of mine who works at vauxhall says the meriva has a 4 stud 288mm disc that'll fit no probs, think it was the later 1.7cdti, but not too sure.

Some are 5 stud, some are not in that advert, though the 260mm are 4 stud, all the mavira 1.7 cdti one's that are 288mm i found were 5 stud also though.
