how much difference will a 2.0 throttle body and air flow metre make to a 1.6?
does anybody know? :D

its already got 2.0 injectors throwing more fuel than normal in so i suppose im just gonna have to try it. non of the parts have cost owt so im not goin to lose out :?

I assume you have modified other parts of your engine? Just fitting higher flow injectors will reduce power. The injectors are designed to deliver the right amount of fuel to match the airflow. All that is happening now is that extra fuel is being dumped in. You will be running rich, therefore loosing power. The only time you'll need to upgrade injectors is when you have tuned your engine so far, that std ones cannot flow enough fuel.

Fitting a 2.0 AFM and TB will reduce resistence and increase flow, all good, but as soon as the air is through the TB, it will reach the inlet plenum which is the same ID as the TB. To make the most of it, you'll need to mod the plenum too. Double check that the 2.0 afr gives the same signal output per movement as the orginal, otherwise you'll upset the ECU.
