View Full Version : Steelies to fit over 16v brakes??
I know they need to be 14s but whats the minimum width? Is it 4.5j?
Found a set for sale but it doesnt say what the width is. Will these fit?
Look like astra or cavalier wheels to me.

Iirc they should but dont hold me to it
If you can find 5J ones then thats your best shot as im not sure that 4.5J will fit.
Depends if you fancy taking a grinder to the calipers.
bump, anyone know from the pic what size they are likely to be? no word from the seller.

Yep 14" X 4.5 Should Fit
As grant said, any 14 inch steelie will fit, the only issues you get are with the 14 inch SR / GSi style alloys because they have a shallow spoke design :)
Cheers guys, wasnt sure if these were the same width as the sr/gsi wheels, but as its down to the design it wont matter.
Yup standard SRi 14" steelies fit no problem.

round-hole 14" steelies like those should fit, that's what i ran on my mk3 astra merit with 16v brakes, from a mk3 cav.
