i have two availible options for the front brakes in my nova atm and they are

cavalier 2.0 calipers and disks

or

cavalier v6 calipers and disks

only problem being that the v6 are 5 stud:confused: do i need to search for the same size disks but 4 stud or would it be easyer to just use the 2.0 brakes?

thanks in advance as you guys are seem to know every thing there is to know

Dont bother with V6 set up unless your fortunate enough to get the over sized M/C and servo from an early astra which is super rare now.

2L brakes are plenty good enough

IMO 2.0 aswell. Cheaper and wont gain as much pedal travel as the V6 stuff.

got to agree with the lads a previous nova i had was fitted with 2.0 valva brakes got me hands on sum v6 ones and drilled them to 4 stud and the 2.0 ones worked better, cheapr and easyr straight swap fitting 2.0 ones. thats wot id go for from my own personal experience of having both on the same car.

Yeah 2.0l ones are fine as the V6 ones are too heavy imo

Or go for the 256x22mm corsa GSi ones, less clearance issues on wheels ;)

Ditto with what everyone has already said.
V6/Turbo brakes are overkill on a nova tbh, discs/pads are a lot more, and they weigh more.
2L with decent pads are fine
