ignore them two lol basically what they are trying to say is that the 1L are crap engines and therefore no one has made anything for them. you can obviously do the usual head work, filter exhaust blah blah but for the amount it would cost you would be better off putting a bigger engine in

if you want to stick with the 1.0 engine, a replacement backbox, get a head ported by someone who does old mini engines, cos they are very similar maybe try and find a 1200 mk1 or 2 astra, cos they have a 1200 version of the 1.0 & it is externally identical... maybe get the cam reground. but just get a 1.2/1.3/1.4 will give you much more bang for your buck
