View Full Version : GSi twin 40's
Sorry about another thread on this!!!
I've just bolted my twin 40's onto the GSi engine, and there is a port on the head not covered by the manifold.
I've no pictures of it, but it's right in the middle. What do I do with it, have I got the wrong inlet manifold and now need another?:(
Im no expert but from the way you describe it i think you have the wrong manifold.
you must be running a e16se as it has a port passing from the exhaust side to the inlet side, get some pics up.
on my inlet for the t40's it covers it but the gasket dosnt so i just plugged it up with a solid dowel

Sounds like it could be the EGR takeoff on the head.
Normally this is sorted by screwing in a suitable bolt with a sealing compound on the threads, mines done this way.

Yeah it's an E16SE - it looks like an "exhaust" port as it's all black inside.
That's good news that it can be blocked off like that, thanks!!!
