More engine trouble...

1.0L Life (see 1.0L's, Joe's Nova) but its not ticking over as well as it should. Also, it SOMETIMES - and thats the annoying part - won't accelerate in any gear particularly well and won't let me get above 50mph... well dangerous on the Mway! Its just not responding as it should.

If anyone got any ideas, give us a shout! But i'm a beginner so they need to be nice and clearly explained :oops: hehe

could also be a slight blockage somewhere along the line. Or might just need a good service.

check timing... also if you find that when you press the accelerator and the car kind a pulls away as though the brakes are on then accelerates shortly afterwards its prob fuel starvation (blocked carb jets or fuel filter if fitted).

How long has it been doing it and what happened just before it started (if anything...)

Doesnt the 1ltr have a manual air flow on the filter box? set to sumer/winter? could this be affecting it???
