Hi has anyone removed the plastic fuel pipe that runs through the chasis leg that connects the tank to the filler neck. I'm tryin to get it out without damaging it.:thumb:

with petrol cap off theres 3 screws behind it and a large jubille clip underneath on tankside, mebbe a bolted mounting point halfway way too.
you should be able to take the whole lot out in one, then itll most likely be easier and less damaging to seperate the pipes.

You mean the breather pipe? Doesn't really matter if you damage it mate. You can just replace it with a piece of universal rubber fuel hose. Might not be a bad idea if you are running an old one.

changed mine recently although mine was already a piece of rubber pipe but it had gone solid but i couldn't seem to find replacement pipe, local motor factors were telling me lies i think saying they didnt have it but got a meter off ebay for £5.50 delivered i think it was, 1/2" or 12.7mm is the size. Just make sure its fuel/oil hose you get so it doesnt perish.
