Oil Cooler

I have an oil cooler with pipework for my c20xe, and also the round plate which the pipework attatches to and fits between the oil filter, and oil pump plate... Can i get a threaded extension type adapter so i dont have to change the filter housing (as currently the thread is too short to fit the both).. or do i have no option than to replace the complete thing? As the engine is in situ and i reall cant be bothered messing around...

Aye you just need the bolt to suit the sandwich plate, the one thats in there now will unscrew (with some grips) then the new one uses a 10mm (i think) allen key to fit it.
