i have a mk1 nova, originally a 993cc under head cam.
lookin for a engine 1300-1600 but i want it on carb
how easy is it to convert injection to carbs, and does any one have a rough idea on how much it will cost? or does any one have something like this for me?
thanks alot

1.0 would have been carb?
Your need to sort the fuel tank as the 1.0 dosnt have the return, otherwise its just a bit of small wiring.
Preety much the same as any other engine conversion.

i dont think its that hard, my old nova was a 1.4 sxi and i brought it with twin 40s on it , the lad said a place in birmingham did it for him , he sourced the parts and they did it foor a reasonable price, didnt give me a number

have done this on all my 1.6 8v's its a pritty easy job for a quick bhp gain, depending were you get your parts from can fair expensive tho.
remove the inlet manifold with the injection on it, replace it with a new inlet manifold an carbs, you will have to alter the igy system to i used the 1.4. fuel wise use a low pressure pump, just make sure you get a matching set of carbs, top pull linkage.
if your running 40's id recommend tuning your engine up.
