Most common is a C20LET, a bit more work could fit a Z20LET but wiring would be a bit of a pain. Also Z16LET(I think?) from a Corsa VXR could be done I suppose. Either that or turbo a 1600 8v etc
any you like if ya pockets deep enough.

There are all sorts of routes really as a few have mentioned really. Standard engines and turbos added on various threads on here so have a look around the site and get a few ideas. Use the search for bits aswell I.e turbo engines.
If you are still stuck then others will respond but it does help get to know the cars a little before going in at the deepend.

ok well thanks for ur help, iv got a load of spares that i want to sell but i havnt got a clue how much there worth, then i can put it all towards a new engine :)
they do a z16let too/\.
id say to you, buy a conversion kit, and all the right hoses and stuff from chris astley. then buy your c20let, and buy a rebuild kit from autovaux. then prep your shell, i.e strengthening plates etc. then build it. id say your talking 8k to do it right with all bought bits. and thats a std let, no mods.
plus your time to build it.....

Then you need to work it out mate, use the search here and check the bay etc. Offers aren't allowed dude.
