you can use the rear arm from a 306 as they use a plastic smooth item.
I think it was on the later ones only tho.

i have a rear 306 wiper arm on my nova to make the single wipe but i fitted it with a much longer blade 21 or 22inch from memory

it works well but make sure you do it up tight as there are no splines on the 306 arm to match the splines on the novas spindle
