hi all,
actually got sent here by someone off wheel-whores.com as I was on the look out for some parts for my other halfs car.....thought I would pop a quick post up to say hi, instead of just jumping right in with a wanted ad!
anyway, sorry about the name as well, mercs are my usual bag but i coulndt bare yet another login so thought I would keep the same name!
so, girlfriends first car....
nova 1.2, F reg, 3dr hatch, red. 85k. ex granny owned. paid 250 for it with T&T and just smartening it up as its my girls first car.
so far I have done, disks/pads, full engine service, full polish and interior clean.....just need some springs and wheels and its all done, I'll get some pics up this week.
right, off to the for sale/wanted section!!

well....here are the pics...no real befores, but all sorted now:
the downside....after driving less than 50 miles in it, the other half has decided she doesnt like it, mostly becuase she is a dumbass who cant use a choke....will be putting a thread up in for sale.
personally, she runs great and I've racked up 100 miles or so, great fun!!
still, good while it lasted :)
edit....no pics, need more posts first....I'll be back!

right, pics:
this was bought for the girlfriend as a 1st car. got it cheap albeit with MOT and TAx and have done the following:
removed interior (SR i think?) and cleaned everything
wired up CD player
full cut and polish
lowered 40mm on new springs
disks and pads up front and rears/handbrake adjusted
oil + filter, air filter, plugs, rotor arm, dissy cap...
all in, shes good to go...and, she could be yours!!
