FLASHER! ! ! ! !

Not used my car since the end of December, jumped in and she started 1st time...WOOHOO...,got to the first junction, wap the indicator on un...,whats goin on, the indicators are indicating but at about half the normal speed......

Any ideas whats goin on?

All the bulbs and fuses are ok, the relays fine, so maybe the connections became damp in the cold weather???

probly damp in the relay underneath the fusebox (controlling delay between flashes) - give it a good hair drying in your house or get another one

Did what u said m8, but now it's flashing just a lil bit faster than normal and it gets slower and slower all the time till it just stops after about a min........

Any ideas???

wrong rating of bulbs? too much resistance so they flash slower?

Had the car just over a year now and not changed or even touched the indicators or lights and everythin's been K.....

I'll go check the bulb ratings anyways

Yeah i gave it a good drying and it seems 2 work.......fingers crossed it doesn't do it again, well at least till after the MOT on Monday then i can find where the damps gettin in....Sunroof im thinkin

where'd you say it was damp? Fuse box? Check the battery tray for the signs! :cry:

Yeah it was (and still is) the fuse box thats damp.....stoopid leaking sunroof grrrrr
