Personally I'd go for OE Vauxhall/Irmscher alloys and if it was me I'd go a max. size of 15" with either 195/45/15's or 195/50/15's

Cavalier Cesaro's, Cavalier Slab's, Mk3 Astra GSi, Cav SRi Fanblades

The list is endless tbh :)

when you say irmscher what like softstars because i have seen them on a nova total vauxhall magazine to be honest they were ok but i was looking at team dynamics monza rs or 1.2s or rota slipstreams but im not sure of the offset im after alloys that just bolt on but cav slabs look good ure right :) P.S im lowering the car by 60mm front and back

et49 is the OEM offset, but bear in mind that will change depending on the width of the wheel.

They only deal in aftermarket wheels but you select the wheels that fit the car so even if you dont buy from them you can get some decent info on the sizes and diamentions

the ET40 might scrub the arches a mite....... i think that the lowerest recommended ET is 41 tbh

but this website alloywheels.com says between et40 and et45 will fit. also i know the tyres i will have to be carefull of but the tyres that would be on the alloy would be 195/45/15 or 195/50/15.

45 profiles, used 50 profiles before, scrubbed like an ****! mind you they were on 35ET wheels

You might be able to get away with 40ET wheels, but like i said i think that the lowest recommended ET is 41

ET40 down 60mm will more than likely scrub. I had 15x6.5 ET38 Oz wheels with 195/45/15 tyres and had to bring the back up 10mm as otherwise it was running on the arch lol

alloywheels.com says 40-45 as they probably don't sell any wheels over ET45.

But i see in magazines and the internet people with novas lowered 60mm with 195/45/15 alloys and tyres and havnt had any problems same story with 16 inch wheels, surely if i was to say use cav slabs same digits 195/45/15 compared to rota slipstreams 195/45/15 they would both bolt on.

All depends on the offset.
