Help Mono Wiper

Has any1 sucsessfully done a single wiper conversion cause iv cut 7mm out of the "T" section and now the linkage to the motor doesnt fit properly and when it does the motor cant do a full turn HELP PLEASE :? :? :?

Yip iv got a diy single wiper conversion! you need to weld a piece 2 it aswel, for the linkage, and then bent the rod so it swings evenly both ways, takes a while 2 sort, i still aint sorted mine! clicks when wipes! mainly due 2 i welded 2 much on!
