Carb tank + Injection engine

Going to be putting a C16SE into my saloon but it is a carb so have the carb tank on at the moment. Two questions, firstly am i able to use this tank until i get my MPI tank or what? Also i have an in tank pump taken from the Astra i removed the engine from, can i use that with the carb tank?

if it has a feed & return pipe, then yes, as long as you keep plenty of fuel in it...
the in tank pump will work fine in an spi nova tank, but you will need the inline external pump to work it on the carb tank

ah cheers, i did think it might be along those lines but wasnt sure. Ill just wait till i get my MPI tank and fit the engine then.

my carb lines have held up fine, the only pipe thats blew open was a rubber joiner that was ment for injection psi fuel lol
