Strange Noise HELP!!

Help me!!!

I was driving down a coutnry lane today and went through a few big puddles, then a few seconds later i had the most awful loud vibrating noise from the left side of my car at the front, it stopped after about 20 seconds but im just wondering if anyone else has had the same sort of problem or if anyone knows what it could be???

front left - could be the engine fan???

mine vibrates the whole car slightly so i suppose its possible for a semi-buggered one to vibrate alot?

the water could have shorted out the temp sensor or the engine just got too hot and it was a conincidence?

Strange one, only thoughts I have are either water onto the brakes, cooling them rapidly or are you CV joint gaiters OK - could water have got into the joint. Just theories - really not sure.

it'll be the water vbrating between your brake pads - I used to get it lots after driving down country lanes ages ago - it sounds like your front wheels gonna come off without the nasty vibration!

If you get vibrations through your steering it will be a track rod/cv joing issue - check all gators are sealed like Manta Mad says.

just pump yer brakes a little when you go through deep puddles/floods.

You may want to check your brake discs/pads - at the time of mine vibrating, my pads were pretty well work and my sliders were sticking.
