Did anyone go in the end.

I had a great day, some quick cars but no Novas...

Was aiming for 14's, managed a 15.1 @ 92.64mph in the 8v so quite happy, remember thats with a full GSI interior :D .

I'm told a guy I beat in a Fiesta ST cried because he lost to a Nova lol, I bought the photo to remember the moment lol .

Also beat a Mondeo ST V6, Clio Williams, Alfa V6, Fiesta ST 2.0 and a few others, also got told off for opening my window on the strip :tard: .

I think it had more to give to be honest, I was changing gear at 5,800rpm as it fades out slightly after that.

With a few mods between now and PVS, my aim will be 13's :) . (I can dream ;) )

Sounds like a challange :p .

Scott, insted of leaving your car unused, give it to me :) .

I was just looking at my printout, I raced a astra couple 2.0 turbo, he did a 14.036 and I did a 15.1 but upto the 1/8th marker I was in the lead lol.

would you be interested in some 6j 14 steelies (very cheap) with part worn 185/60s on them, then get a tin of this stuff.. it will improve your times & won't knacker your road tyres.

traction is worth tons in 1/4 mile times... power is still very important, but only when you have grip

Bald R888's 18 psi, big ass burnout add some grip mog mentiond and a standard 2.0 xe nova does high 13's add a shot of nos and get my mates time on 13 flat...

quiet happy with that he is :)

Not bad at all that, quite good for a 8v.

Future mods, 16v and nitrous :p

funny, cos when I've ever spilt some onto a tyre, i've never seen any adverse effect...

Is his name Ben and Drive a Silver corsa thats totally stripped out? He was at pod and ran a 14.1 in his corsa. He said it was putting out 153bhp.

At a guess, maybe 140... I've seen ones with the same work done putting out 140bhp, so thats my guess.

It seems to soften the tyres outer layer, but once that's worn off it's back to standard, bomb it into a corner and all of a sudden it's sideways. I work part time as a marshall at an indoor track, the fastest driver we have there can just jam the throttle open the whole way round with WD40 on the tyres, gets a shock when it goes off though lol

Good result mate, :thumb: wish mine ready to run up the strip but will be interesting to see what times it will do.

Mine was only rr'd at 110bhp but was neck and neck with both a starlet gt and a focus rs (till about 3rd gear)

Im only running uniroyals on the front. They spun up a bit of the line if I wasnt carefull and a little bit into second gear so im quite happy.
