View Full Version : Nova - With Another Set Of Wheels!

I know I've had more sets of alloys than Halfords but its just a thing that has to be done lol

I think these are by far the best alloys I've had on the old Nova by a country mile

Gave the car a good clean inside and out including all the windows, dash, carpets, seats then a good wash outside :thumb:

What do you think of my new alloys ? Personally I think they look mega as there the right size, still Vauxhall/Irmscher wheels and they fill the arches due to them being 6J

Opinions?

Craig - I was toying with the idea of these wheels as I knew my mate had them sitting doing nothing then seeing your car made me think 'I'm for these wheels'

I think it needs the bumpers done red now to complement the wheels.

vaughanmc
19-04-09, 05:48 PM
If the bumpers are going red I'm going for GSi bumpers and it needs a couple of wee bits tidied up also :)

But that's for a couple of years time I think (If I still have it)

Cheers for the comments

Not for me, worst Irmscher wheels made IMO.

Dont colourcode the bumpers please, too much on a red car imo..

Wheels look good on her bud but i reckon the rear needs dropping another 10mm or so to get the rim in the arch, will look awesome then:thumb:

vaughanmc
19-04-09, 10:00 PM
Aye I'm not sure on the colour-coded GSi bumpers...Just a thought

I like the way the car sits all round now, I think I've got it perfect

It won't be changing much until I've passed my test anyway :)

Even if you get a GSi bumper id say non-colour coded would suit your car more than coded would!

Car is a credit to you though mate will be good to have a good snoop round her at pv!

vaughanmc
19-04-09, 10:03 PM
Standard grey GSi bumper with the red stripe for added subtlety (if thats even a word) lol

Aye feel free to have a nosey round the car at any time fella :thumb:

irmscher rims suit your nova really well
something a little different
the spolier and alloys give it a fresh look
good job :thumb:

Wheels and Spoilers really make or break a car and I still think between everyone mines is undecided lol

I personally love the wheels as there Vauxhall/Irmscher items and are nice and wide and not too showy and the spoiler is nice and a bit bigger but not too OTT

I'm glad you like it mate, cheers :)

looks good vaughan..

i liked it on 3 spokes though..

vaughanmc
19-04-09, 10:36 PM
Same here but these were very cheap ;)

I still have the 3 spokes that I might re-furb and keep them as winter wheels for the old bus...

Not too sure though...It just looked crap with the 4.5J's on the front thats all...and handled quite poor lol
