Hi
is the 1.6 gte fuel pump the same as a C20xe pump? if so are the c20xe pumps still available from vauxhall dealers because the 1.6 gte isnt
any help appreciated

no they're not, it wont be able to handle the pressure needed! not sure if vxl still do them, give your local dealer a shout and see. but its possible to head to your local breakers and see if there is a 2l astra or something there you can use

i think the gte pump is the same as any inline bosch pump, I know that I used a manta one at one point. try a scrapper, I think there are quite a few VAG products that use it too.

my local breakers dont have any nova pumps , are any of the corsa pumps useable?

noooo it would need to be an astra 2.0 or cavi one, novas and corsas didnt have 2l XE as std so never had them (duh!) but if you dont wanna be dealing with farting about in the tank then iirc a cossie in line one can work with the GTE in tank one wire in paralell

it will work fine mate, you need an astra gte external pump. BIGS has a mk2 astra gte pump on his nova GTE and its fine..

As I said before, the inline bosch pump is used on loads of cars. the xe one is no different to any of the others

righto then my bad...... i read sonewhere about the cossie one so i iguess im not the only one spouting utter tosh!
