 h8 to say i told u so

to be fair you wana slam it as much as you can afford and as much is sensbile

i.e
bad roads or lots of speedumps?
is it for looks or performance?
if for looks then good, if u use the car for track day events or anything off road use then u may consider a more refined setup..........

yeah got for -60mm if u can afford it... cos u will also have to change your shocks as well as springs.

It will be worth it tho. :)

u can itll be fine 8)

i ran my 1.2 for 10 months on standard shockers, i didnt have a problem

the only prob you will have is that if u jack rear of car up, the spring s fall out - likewise going over hump back bridge far to fast the springs are toooo short

wire tie them to the beam - thatll prevent em coming out and also make sure you pass MOT!

you may find over a period of time you will wear your shocks out - but if your doing it on the cheap, like i was back then  just buy some old shockers from a s/yard - usually alright.

Slam the Mother! My mate just cut nearly half his spring down and it was top. it was like a go cart a sticks to the road like a shitty blanket. Bit harsh on bumpy roads though.

your mate wouldnt have cut the rear springs in half. Because they are a pigtail shape spring <=>not === hence they wouldnt locate if he chopped them in half.

I chopped front spring when i first got car. heated it up and re bent it so it sat in cup properly. but a few months later they snapped

So i went to halford and bought some spax coilover
