think the misses' tigra engine has sh!t itself

thinking about whipping the engine out in place of an xe if can be done cheap enough, alternatively another 16xe

what do people have, and what do people pay nowadays?

thanks

Good old small blocks eh! big block xe ftw! Reckon you could do it for £500 easily. I wouldn't put another small block xe in, it'll only do the same thing lol.

dunno to be fair, lol just won't start

this morning it sounded like someone had dropped some coins in the head

after work tonight, just won't start, but no clanging or banging, just 'sounds' like no compression

A Tigra is identical to a Corsa mechanically, so you need all the Corsa bits to do the conversion.

compression test results are:

Cyl#1 - 185psi / 12.8bar
Cyl#2 - 100psi / 6.8bar
Cyl#3 - 160psi / 11 bar
Cyl#4 - 135psi / 9.3bar

Any ideas of what it could be to start with?

Compression is just a test of rings isn't it? Was going to say valves bent but then i realised they'd hold about 0 bar above atm. lol
