Freeze insurance

Was speaking to my old man the other day and when the nova gets the new engine in it will be off the road for a month or so. Can i just ring my insurance company and just freeze the policy. Will only be 2 months max. No point me paying for it if its not going to get used.

Ring and ask. Who are you with and how do you pay for it? They should be able to suspend your policy. Only problem is if (god forbid) anything happens to your car, it wont be covered.

should be able to although may charge up to, wo lots of admin fees, which might not make it viable. you could ask them to drop the cover to none use cover but again admin fees.
