Lol its ok! goodluck lol

Yep, e-cheques take up to 5 business days to clear, during which time the transaction is effectively in limbo. Always best to avoid using them through paypal tbh, debit cards are best.
ive got a meastro card and it wont work, aparentley my card numbers too short, even though on the card it says card number and thats the one i put in lol
So how do you make your paypal sent instantly then as ive just set up paypal and mine does the same!
dont use hsbc ... thats what im thinking lol

you need to connect it directly to your bank account and use a visa debit i think....
Welshy, I have a feeling some old maestro cards had an extra 3 digits on the end. Try adding the 3 CCV numbers from the back...
Spud, you need to register a debit/credit card with them - I would assume that Paypal defaults to an e-cheque if you haven't registered your bank account or debit/credit cards. Funds from your bank are sent instantly, but take a few days to appear on your statement (and even then just show up as "direct debit"; whilst card payments are instant and come up with "paypal - [recipient name]", which, IMO, is better).

yep register a debit card then make sure you have funds in your paypal as if not it comes out your bank via an e-cheque. e cheques can take upto 2 weeks lol

did you go to your bank and paypal left two amounts in your account like 1p and 4p. then you had to log on and verify these amounts.
