engine loom

is the EX (16v) loom the same as the NE (8v) loom or are there some slight differences.....also im fitting my C20NE into my sri ....there is no nova engine loom plug and play plug like on the earlier models so not sure if you keep the nova ecu in or do u have to cut out the engine loom wires to the nova ecu.....please help as im confussed :confused: :confused: thanks mart..... :thumb:

Its XE not EX. And there different afaik. More/less/different sensors etc.

Nova looms wont have a plug (unless its a GSI which i think has?) Your have to cut out all the nova ecu wiring etc. Keeping the starter and alternator wires from the nova loom.

lol EX!!!!! sorry was late and been trying to figure this out for a while now .... thankyou for ur responce yes that does help alot just that guide doesnt give any info for us beginners lol out there on how you splice into the nova loom.... thanks again :thumb:
