Well as some of you may know, i had an impulse buy last week and ended up with this B reg 85 saloon which was dubbed 'The Garden pea' by ginge today lol. Not really got major plans for the near future as im in the middle of building the VXR and my Mrs, Becca (bek---x) is using this one for the time being, so for now its going to be lightly treated to some retro rims, and the ability to scrape its **** along the floor, pics...

I used to have an old mk1 hatch in that colour with the same interior! Good luck trying to get a rattle can to spray match!

So i cracked on with the central locking, still need to wire it and get all the wires through and into the doors but got everything mounted up and checked it all works:

Solenoids, wiring, control box etc:

Firstly i clamped up the actuating arm to get the position for the solenoid, then held it up to the outer edge and marked the top hole, then with using the good old Lolly pop stick positioning technique i marked and drilled the second hole:

Same process repeated on the drivers door ad all mounted up (forgot to take pics of the passenger side)

Then ginge pointed out i could shove the control box behind the heater vent blaking plate, well done lad lol fits and sits in there quite nice and solid so no need for drilling any of the interior :D:

When my new wing arrives i'll be taking the old one down to be colour matched and buy a couple of litres lol already had that one figured and planned

yeh one of the fronts i had off draper didnt have a bottom plate so the shock shot up and put a little outy dent in the bonnet:roll:

This demo'd the rad, bent up the bumper iron quite bad and pulled the slam panel down, mangled up the front valance too. New rad £70 + a day off work, the bumper off of my VXR nova and here's how she sits now:
