1.6 gsi engine man. light

Evening chaps, had the car out for a wee blast tonight. Running really well but everytime it hits 3000 rpm, engine man. light comes on.

Could this be due to the induction kit? Certainly not feeling any problems with performance. :confused: Any ideas?

i think its pretty common on the novas, corsas and saxos. my nova man light goes on at 45000rpm and i take it right into the red and nothing happens apart from the man light flashing. pain in the ass! unless you lose power i wouldnt worry about it or for piece of mind go and get a diagnostic test done at you local garage.

probs a loose connection thats opening when you hit about 3k
