well wernt to sure what it was called, im gonna strip the car tomorow hopefully, i only realised it was gone because the foot went throught it lol lol lol
nice work on you panels though bigs looks good mate !!!
Cheers bud, yea its a splash panel. I would just cut around the rot and plate over it and spray it then add underseal to both side including in the car

i dont like plating over things mate, im gonna cut it all out and try an repair it with out noticing it i hope, im bit of a fussy fooker really lol
gonna roll the car on its side, have a hay day with th grinder an shilts the whole bottom of the car lol
You should try and get a template from either the opposite side if its not rotted away or another Nova and do it that way. I always think parts like that look better if they are replaced rather than patched but im quite fussy like that.

That looks like it's in the footwell too! If you go hunting with a wire wheel, you'll probably find more of the same! Might end up easier whipping the wing off and replacing the whole section with one plate. Only need spot/small stitches as it isn't loading bearing etc so possibly even less welding that a patch! Use a piece of card as a template to pick up the wing profile. I have pics of this in my wip
