hi guys wondering if you can help, when i go to put the heating on the temp of air stays the same as when its on cold, so was wondering what could be the problem. i recently changed my dashboard.:tard:

Car isnt warm, cable clip broken or the maxtix broken

car was running for a while as fan came on still confused

Almost definately down to a broken or unconnected cable, check the back of the heater controls and around the heater box.

how do i fix the broken cable clips?

I used two cable ties, just stop it from moving backwards or forwards

could be an air lock?
but try that 1st means as you took the dash out lol

air blows thro ok but can ajust were air goes

have a look in the passenger footwell, under the dash, you should see the mechanism on the left hand side of the heater assembly. for now u can manually adjust it to what u want untill you sort out a new cable, the lil plastic clip that secures the cable to the assembly has probably broken on it, they get brittle with age.

and on the other side, the vent direction is the right hand cable, drivers footwell
