Rite, Im considering getting a mk2 dash for when I get a gte to stick it in( I know where theres a nova in a breakers, mk2 5 door, all panels intact) is it a straight fit? I think it will be, Im just worried about the heater matrix, wot has everyone else done about this?

Its a straight swap mate, i am considering doing it myself as the MK1 dash is dog ugly. Find a post from Mike on this forum and follow the links to his How To!? site, it has a guide on there. Hope this helps.

that help!

yeah piece of pi$$ mate - appart from all the obvious things you will need

you WILL forget the following!!!!!!!!

 shroud that goes around steering column between wheel and dash

 MAKE SURE it has a hazard switch

 under dash trays

 to mount the underdash trays, get your head under the dash and where the vents for the footwell are (in black plastic thing) u need this cover off the bottom of the matrix - it has a groove either side to slide the underdash trays in.

four bolts, get the cover of and bobs your dads brother.
