calibra c20xe loom

i have a wire left on my loom.. who knows whats its for?

it comes out the loom near the dizzy, a single black wire with a long round plug..

Oil level sensor? Lamda sensor?

thats your main switched live mate. wont work without it (looks like a cavy loom :D)

it does work without it, thats the thing.

@pete: lamba is inside. 3pins. oil level is a 2 pins iirc.

hmm, black is 100% switched live. even comes out in the right place to be from a cavalier... but if it works without it and no EML then id forget about it lol.

i know ive seen a couple looms with the same connector in the same place but a green wire instead and all have not been connected..

normally you wire up the black wire from the nova light loom to the ignition right?

cause i wired that one up to this one..
