1.2i rev limiter?

Right im a bit befuddled, i fitted some SR gauges to my car with a 6k tacho face on it, with a 5k redline. Now i have read the rev limiter is about 5k but according to the book it says that it will go up to 6k intermittantly, never got it to go to 6k.
Anyone know if there a problem or am i just being simple? (as usual i know i know :tard:)

Nothings wrong? rev limit is about 6.5k. If its got a 5k rev limit they sound like diesel dials!

on a 1.2? thought that it was 5

SPi limiter is 6250rpm iirc.

smeg, i got the wrong dials.......... will have to have a dig to see if i got a 7k dial
