straight swap you can get a gearbox for next to nothing anyway but yes i beleive so
correct me if im wrong
i'd buy an F13, the F10 box is much shorter as the 1.2i has less than half the bhp of the 1.6, the 4 speed which it probably has tops out at under 100, so you end up revving the knackers off it over 50/60

true, but i run my F10/4 to 110 (on private road) but the engine is designed not to be powerful enough to get it past 94 (according to the manual that is)
Speeds i managed to get out of the ol H-box
1st about 34-35mph
2nd 55-60mph
3rd 80mph
4th got to 110mph but at 4.6k so it will go faster my guess if i could get it to max itself out about 130 or so on the limiter, but the 1.6 has a higher rev limit so you would hit a higher speed, im guessing 150-ish but again its the same ratios as the F13 but with one less gear.

As said..go with the F13. A 4 speed on a 1600 is stupid IMO. They come with 5 speed 'boxes as standard.....
Is that 110 on nova clocks, or something that measures speed? because by my estimations that means you were doing about 85-90 ;)

lol i got them sorted, they more accurate, now the actual 10% out that its supposed to be, so i should have been doing about a ton
And how did you "sort them out"?
cheers guys 4 the replys i will stick with the 1.2 box 4 the mo just trying to keep costs down till i sell my bora
just been lookin at some old threads so i need a small block 1.6 with a f10 /f13 box as f16/f20 are big block ?

yeah that sounds about right, depending on what your using it for, normal driving i would use an F13CR same as sprints but for proper track use try the F13

just buy an f13 c/r of l/r you wont notice much difference between them. but don't put the f10 on it's not worth it. gear box oil + time to fit the f10 you can buy a f13 for 30 squid easy these days! don't do it twice do it right once.
