i have got a 4 pot brembo brake on it atm and i am looking for something a bit more powerful for it
i have a funny feeling it wouldnt
its a bit hard to turn because it has a kart axle n drives 2 wheels
so its just like a locked difflol

building one of these myself atm, but cant figure the best way to mount a racing kart rear axle, you any pics of how you mount yours lad??

well what i did i cut my old kart apart and welded all of the mounts onto the scooter

Get a carb off a gx200 6.5, also, you can get cams, slipper pistons, cranks, rods all sorts for the 5.5, the fastest one i saw back in my karting days was about 15bhp, just fiddle with the govenor, and cut the low oil sensor out :thumb:

You dont need to split the cases, just leave the rod there, disconnect everything up top:) :)
