NOVA-KID-93
26-08-09, 07:58 PM
I will be keeping mine flame red, and going to have it all colour coded, with no skirts and GSI front but if I dont like it will have dark grey (hurricane/ volvo grey) bumpers.

Sounds good mate then you deffo need to bring it to some meets :thumb:

deanwilko
27-08-09, 08:36 PM
thanks. got some comp th's but not sure what wheels to go with

peester
27-08-09, 08:41 PM
ooh.. it'de look damn good on those too.. if the comp's are a dark silver/grey... what size? 15" or 16"??
its funny you mention that cos i used the same pic of martin hills, that yours reminds me of, for a photoshop for mike with comp th's on.. wierd.
Anyway, i think you should or could just swap between the two, have both..

deanwilko
27-08-09, 08:46 PM
there silver. there 15 but 7j so they catch on the track rod ends and coilovers front and rear with spacers they fit but the car as low as it is now they wont go under the archers and when you adjust the coilovers to suit i think it looks stupid

i will have to try them after the wide track kit has been put on, if they dont fit theres another set of wheels that ive also considered but i would like to fit the ats's if possible

A few of my mates have them, defenders though, it is good fun have to stop myself like them too much though as they cost more than Novas lol

deanwilko
27-12-11, 09:59 PM
i think that defenders are over rated and priced, we have never been stuck anywhere we have been, and beleive me its been some places we have had it sat on the rear bumper going up vertical slopes lol, even water half way up the window screen, we have had to pull loads of defenders out. cost all in steve (grandad) has around 3k in it

noticed that the n/s/r sill started to look abit scabby when welding the rear arches, so gave a friend a call and just so happened that he had two sill skins on the shelf so half an hour later he droped them off.

cut out all the nasty rust, and started to weld in new metal, better pics tomorrow
