what you need a spot welder for
36amp fuse? WTF? As long as its 230-240v on single phase itll work in domestic 3 pin plug socket.
Or are you on about the fuse size with regards to a domestic ring main?

hss hire it has a blue plug on it like 110v one's and its for my rear quaters.
they should give you the correct transformer/adaptor to use it if you rent one...

have you got a welder
Have you not got a 110 transformer?
it wont be on 110v, the blue plug is 240v and when you hire it you will get a adapter with the blue end and a normal 3pin plug,
Regards Jimbo
just use a mig welder and spot weld punch. will be much cheaper and quicker imo
